We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Old Unionite and chairperson of the Old Unionite Association, ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป (Class of ’98).
His death has come as a great shock to the Union Schoolsโ community and our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy are with Daveโs family at this time, in particular his wife Maryke, and two young daughters, Micela and Kari.
As a fourth generation Old Unionite, Dave served the school with enthusiasm and dedication, while playing an important role in the wider school community.
While we are devastated by his death, we rejoice in the full, fascinating, impactful and rewarding life he had, and the countless lives he touched and influenced.
We will be celebrating his memory at the school in the near future.
