𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to Old Unionite, Jenna McNaughton, Class of 2019, on her selection for the Western Province u/21 Ladies Hockey A Side.
While at Union, Jenna (a past Head Girl of the school) was a force to be reckoned with on the hockey field.
Having earned her 50th cap for the school in her Grade 9 year (2016), her 100th in her Grade 11 year (2018) and her captaincy in matric (2019), all those at Union remain incredibly grateful to Jenna for her contribution to the sport of hockey at the school.
The number of games she played for Union was an incredible achievement, the number of goals scored and saved remarkable, but the way in which she played while wearing the white kit of Union, was an example of true grit and determination along with integrity and great sportsmanship, which is the most impressive of all.
