Some special moments on tour happen away from the hockey field.
While in Cape Town, the Union High School, Graaff-Reinet hockey team had the privilege of collecting the Union Colours blazer of the late Angus Paterson (Class of 1950) from his wife, Ursula.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟳𝟲-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗮𝗳𝗳-𝗥𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁, where it will be preserved in our museum for future generations of Unionites to appreciate.
